ABOUT

In a world that often overlooks the ordinary and equates luxury to extravagance, Núria proposes a different view: luxury as the luxury of time, observation and appreciation for the elemental things that surround us. Her watercolors celebrate the mundane, inviting reflection in a fast-paced world and finding luxury in the simplicity of everyday life.

Núria’s work is a meditation on life’s subtleties, capturing the beauty in the here and now - a piece of toast, the curve of a banana, the quietness of an empty beach…-. Through the delicate and demanding medium of watercolors, she reveals the profound in the simple. Each piece is created as an invitation to pause and reflect on what surrounds us, often unnoticed.

Núria feels very connected to water. Water forges its own path, just as Núria explores her unique way with watercolors. One of the reasons she paints in watercolors is because it aligns with her vision of art, respecting and cherishing the natural world.

Núria was born in 1988 in a town near Barcelona. She is based in Spain. She was not the kid that was always drawing but was passionate about art and visiting museums from a young age. It was not until her late twenties that she decided to change the course of her life and devote it to art.

She prefers not to explain her works and lets you discover the paintings through your own eyes. She chooses to speak through her art, not words.

Her paintings have been selected for exhibitions worldwide and won awards, most recently in London.
